This workshop provides young writers the opportunity to explore creative writing techniques in a friendly and stimulating environment. We cover the structure of fictional short stories, poetry and essays. We also discuss what makes our writing work well, such as the choice of colorful details and point of view.
The Club meets the 3rd Thursday of each month from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Boardroom at the Norristown Public Library. Led by Julie Traub, a local writer involved with Montgomery County Community College Writer's Group, who also hosts an adult writer's club and holds a master's degree specializing in Communication.
